Yum! Spent the weekend away with girlfriends to celebrate a baby shower but, also managed to eat my way through a bit of Atlanta, GA. This fig & mascarpone tart from West Egg Cafe (1100 Howell Mill Rd, Atlanta, GA 30318) was the just icing on the cake -- so to speak-- of our three hour long Saturday brunch. The 30-minute, late afternoon wait was totally worth it; the tart, the fried chicken biscuit benny with tomato gravy and pimento cheese grits, the grapefruit sage mimosa were all delicious!
